Hannah Marks (she/her) is a video producer based in Brooklyn, New York.

In Hannah’s work for the Office of the Governor of New York, she conceptualizes, shoots, edits, and finishes videos and other digital content to foster public awareness and support for state initiatives. Over the course of the pandemic, Hannah has developed digital public health campaigns and worked to translate guidelines and public services into ads, videos, and social media graphics. Hannah has also produced digital content for a state-wide project to highlight the diversity of LGBTQ+ New Yorkers and the importance of civic efforts to create safe and inclusive spaces. Previously, Hannah worked with the Upright Citizens Brigade (UCB) as a freelance video producer, camera operator, and digital media creator.

In addition to her work for the Governor’s office and UCB, Hannah’s award-winning independent videos shed comedic light on everyday life in New York. In 2018, Hannah wrote, produced, and directed The Six—a short film set on the NYC subway that won the audience and jury awards at Quickiefest.
